One thing you can do regarding the water is make a fluid priority system. If you have a pipe with a *vertical* junction where water is coming in from above, the pipe will always prioritize the *lower* water first.

Even without underclocking, as long as the byproduct water is on the lower pipe and the extra water is coming in from above, the pipe will always utilize the byproduct water first before taking any fresh input water.

This setup made Aluminum processing in the vanilla game so much easier and should work here as well.

Absolutely the best Video for figuring out the power early game for Satisfactory+ well done sir. Helped me so much, im tired of the chainsaw and trips lol . your voice and describing how it all works is the Best ive ever seen. thanks so much !! perfect

If you want to make it super-complicated, I am pretty sure you can condense the waste steam in the solidifier/cooler back into water.
Very good walk-through of the whole process and setup of early power. I had written off messing with biowater, but that kind of power generation out of just 2 nodes is impressive. Thinking cap -back on! 🙂

Very nice we need more of this :D Helps a ton as a starter ^^

Thank you for this! Trying to switch from biomass burners to biological water was something I had trouble figuring out the nuances of. Think I may have to fire up my save again and give it a shot again.

Seeing that splitter setup at 4:30 hurts my soul...

when i came across this, i was like: "no way, that'll work?"
Man, you're really smart, thanks a lot, this really helped!

i started messing with bio water amidst tier 2 and hooked up three nodes not thinking that this much power was possible from this. I currently have 6 fluid conditioners, 4 burner/boilers, and 4 turbine/generator for these 3 nodes.

i love the layouts, does anyone else have issues with steam backing up? the cooling towers dont seem to be processing the input fast enough

NICE, but you can get wind power going early. They are also power lines that generate some power which lessens the demand for cutting biomass massively. The area is also good for hydro-power once that tech is unlocked. REMEMBER when we bring sustainability into gaming we also stay mindful of it in RL...

personally with the biomass generators, I build 24 and use a manifold to feed them. at the end of the manifold is a container to catch the excess. (24 burners, 24 full stacks of fuel) if I run out/low I belt the excess container back into the manifold to repower everything while I gather more fuel. I also dont super rush to the automated biomass, I make sure to automate all the parts along the way. currently trying to do a run without hand crafting parts at all. still trying to get the cables I need for a

Accidently deleted my earlier comment. Anyway, I'm doing a similar set up, but the biggest struggle I'm having is how to divide up my water pipes into the boilers. I think it's how it has to do with how many rows I'm placing. I'm doing 3 rows of 10 instead of 2 rows of 15. How many boilers per pipeline did you do? I tried to eyeball it in this video, but couldn't tell For me, the math isn't super great so I've been trying to simplify things by just having one pipe feed 10 boilers and then have the second pipe combine with the first about halfway through the row. I've had limited success with that but all the boilers still aren't getting powered. So I'm curious as to how you did it exactly? Maybe I just need to wait a long time for it all to distribute? Seems like I've already been waiting awhile, but I don't know. Also, are Fluid buffers useful here? I think I saw you use them during your playthrough video, so i'm also giving those a try to.

theres any way to use fluid conditioner without smart splitter now? The pattern change, now its 3x leaves then 1x biomass, then repeat!?

How do u get “automated” biomass generators? Is that a mod?

12 biomass gens with a splitter for three, then 2, then 1 is noobie thinking -sorry. I run two rows of 3:49 gennys with a splitter between each set with a belt connecting each tier all the way back to the solid biofuel production. If you need more power, simply add more sets of two gennys with the splitter in the middle on the other end and stretch it out as much as you need.

You use a hell of a lot less space too. It’s only 4 tiles wide.

I’ve played Satisfactory over 3, 000 hours and on my third game of Satisfactory Plus (won’t be my last - a regular vanilla game is easy mode)

I almost deforested an entire biome before finally making the switch from 8 biomass burners to 4 biomass heaters, boilers, turbines and generators. And then I realized I didn't prepare a source of filter material :-D

Ooops!
