If you’ve found that your laziness has made you lose motivation and interest in everything, including school and work, then that’s a sure sign that something is seriously wrong with your mental health. Clinical depression is the more-severe form of depression, also known as major depression or major depressive disorder.

We started doing a series of live productions. If you like this and want to support us, please let us know.

We're trying something different with these new human live productions. We will still do animated videos. But to expand our content into more people, we're trying out real humans. Let us know if you would like to see more.

I always like seeing creators try new things, but I personally prefer animated content. It feels much cozier and personal.

“Depression is a state in which your emotions are repressed. The question is, how did you learn that you needed to suppress your emotions?”

Love how they had to specify that these were real humans, not fake ones 😂

I’ve been called lazy when I find myself in all these signs of depression. Currently I’m a full time college student who recently came out of a long term abusive relationship and has a learning disability. No one understands the impact or the struggle. They just continue to judge and label what they can’t understand.

Anyways, I always love the animations for psych2go they’re amazing! But this is still a great video and nice for a change.

As a pre med student who spends most of their time studying or stressing about school I relate to this video so much. Thanks for the reminder to take better care of myself 💜

“All of the diagnoses that you deal with depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar illness, post traumatic stress disorder, even psychosis, are significantly rooted in trauma. They are manifestations of trauma. Therefore the diagnoses don't explain anything. The problem in the medical world is that we diagnose somebody and we think that is the explanation.”

My parents NEVER take my mental health serious... Smh

It is so difficult to watch things like this, because saying that I match these signs feels like I’m just giving myself an excuse, and I feel like I should shame myself for feeling this way, and that I should feel guilty because I’m just making excuses, not actually suffering. I’ve always thought “I can’t have depression or anxiety, my symptoms aren’t severe enough.” But now I really don’t know. I really wish my parents viewed mental health more seriously and accurately.

this "laziness" they're describing has been with me for years now... What if i'm too lazy to even go see a therapist? that's how i feel right now and it makes me feel so guilty and bad about myself.

“Depression, cynicism, ambivalence—these are all the result of not taking action around things that one recognizes to be important. The awareness was not fulfilled, and, as a result, it becomes dark. It becomes clouded, and the inspiration is lost.”
I can 100% confirm the book this is quoted from have the power to inspire people to take them forward in their lives. For me it worked. From: "The Great Waves of Change", Chapter 14: "Seeing, Knowing and Taking Action." It's a free online book.

i remember my depression got called laziness & it really hurt my feelings. i wanted to tell that person, don’t you think if it was just laziness, it would be easy to come out of (kind of how the video mentioned), but i truly did not want to waste my time.
i am struggling with finding my way after graduating (it’s been 3 years ago & it’s so embarrassing to be honest). i feel extremely unmotivated & lost. it’s almost crippling! that’s the best way i can explain it.
i just don’t know what path to take when it comes to finding a job that won’t stress me out. i literally get anxiety whenever i fill out a job application😩isn’t that so strange!?
i’m still trying to make sense of it!😭😢

My major depression and generalized anxiety came back stronger than ever a few months ago and I hate it. I hate how I have to go back to square one, it's like the few years of recovery and finally feeling happy went down the drain.

I just skipped to see each of the reasons and basically every single one I fit. I’m 13 and do have depression, but a lot of the negative self-talk includes telling myself I’m just lazy. Thank you for making me feel less alone and validated.

Wow it's a new concept of psych2Go. I do miss your old animations but this version is really good too.

this is a very different yet interesting style of video, didn't expect to see actors. As always, great video.
