Stop reading self-help books (without doing this).

Will reading that self-help book actually help you? Well, on several occasions, it did not for me. That sense of motivation you get when reading such books is pretty much fake productivity. Do not be mislead by it. In this video, I will show you how you can truly make the most out of your ability to read these self-help books, and I know from experience that it is so damn effective for your self improvement and life overall.

Not just with videos like these, any content you feel like you aren't consuming for entertainment, make notes abt it. No matter how short the notes are, make sure to note down the key points AND the action steps applicable to you, based on the info that you just got AND the info that you previously gathered.
Yeah that may sound like a lot more work but remember this equation -
Results = Ideas * Action

even if you gain all the info there is to gain, if you take minimal or no actions, you get no results. What I suggested makes it really hard to not take action, because well, you already wrote down the step by step manual about how you're gonna apply the info in your life.

What I do for youtube vids, is that I sometimes make my notes and share them in the comments section. You can get quite a bit of feedback as well. (I haven't done it for this vid because this is already covered in my notes, but yeah, I might try reading ikigai if I feel like it)
