An excellent video Demir. These concepts should also be extended to include self help videos, podcasts and online courses.

O....M...G this is EVERYTHING!!!! You ROCK Demir THANK YOU!!!! I swear I thought very similar things which is why I canceled my audible...was waaaay too much and I knew I needed to re-listen to so many. I also KNOW our brains do not retain that much info to truly put it ALL into action. THEN you have those companies pushing summaries of books so can "read" even more! YOU for confirming what my instincts were already telling me and for taking it to another level on the topic. I feel released now (Lol)

Excellent video Demir - completely agree - 10 minutes that everyone should make time to watch / listen. Of course, course, when you think about it, the 52 book idea is crazy but it's an accepted truth. Love the idea of being more focussed in your reading and re-reading, and I've got to admit to being partially guilty of falling into the trap of too much self help and not enough action from time to time. Thanks for the reminder!

I do agree with what you say, before this video I am trying to meet up with that number but from what I now understand is not the number of books I read but the quality of the books I read and my ability to master them. So instead of rushing through books I will try to assimilate them very well and make the selected few part of me. Thanks so much

The "cult of survivor bias "is even more toxic and evil IMHO. This is a great #2

Amazing video demir! Question: how did you organize this information to share..? This is so short and to the point, and answering the exact questions that’s coming up into mind.. if you can share would mean a whole lot!!

Experiential learning is the best experience. I'm guilty for reading tons...😟
1st pass: Ahh!
2nd pass: Hmmm!
3rd pass: Notes✍"How those notes apply to your life- business?" Apply!

Great video Demir! A book may be recommended by three people, but if it’s how to play soccer better, I won’t read it. My first criteria is that the book has to be related to something that matters to me or that I want to develop. Sorry soccer fans, but that’s just not my thing. At least not right now

Even before becoming CEOs I doubt dese executive were into d self help thing...they are probably more obsessed about their ideas and would not sleep until it has been achieved... Like u said some of dese CEOs are kind of very busy and have no time reading self help, BT I believe de recognize d importance of increasing and improving their skiilset as result de might tend to focus on dat.

Great vid! I agree 💯. Got to that understanding organically this year, I’ve listened and relistened to books at least 3 times (and usually repeat chapters during one go). Being someone who loves to read self-help books, I’ve sooo fallen into the trap of just carrying around head-knowledge. This year I was determined to internalize the new and super helpful ideas and this video has helped me see the last step I was missing - taking notes of what I’ll action. Thank you!
