Alternating strabismus, or an alternating eye turn, is a condition when the eye turn will randomly move from one eye to the other instead of just one eye being turned in all the time. Let Dr. Julie explain more about how we treat this at our clinic.

Hello, i really feel like i have strabismus but my doctor says that i dont. What do i do? Can i get glasses even if my doctor says i dont need them? And Does having an anterior open bite cause this? Thats what i have. I was reading how misaligned teeth can affect the eyes i dont know if its true? I am also experiencing pressure in my eyes..

Hi Dr Julie thanks for posting your videos it is hard to find good info on a lot of these subjects. I have been through 32 weeks of vision therapy to treat CI which I still have and now doing syntonic since late Feb so hopefully that helps. But my question for you is my 84yo Mother has a eye turn in pretty bad for about 4yrs now it seems to be pretty much stuck but every once in awhile it seems to move just a little, is there any hope of fixing that? unfortunately we are 3+hrs away in IN. test show she does have a brain aneurysm that Drs say is not a real concern but could possibly be affecting the eye?

Hi,
I have intermittent exotropia. My eyes are straight but sometimes (Every 2 or 3 mins) my one eye turns outward. How can it be cured? Surgical or non surgical? I live in India.
