I was born and raised in Reno and it’s crazy to see how things have changed - more people, more traffic, more crime, more expensive.

Fun fact: Nevada has the most mountains over 10, 000 feet than any other state. More than 300 named mountain ranges all running north to south. And is home to "The Lonliest Road In America" aka highway 50. I personally really like Nevada for those reasons

Living in Las Vegas, you're only a half-day's drive from several of America's most scenic national parks: Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon and Death Valley. There are numerous dark-sky locations all over if you like stargazing.

I used to live in NV. both Las Vegas and Reno. It has it's positives, but I got tired of Las Vegas and eventually moved to Illinois. I enjoyed Reno more than Las Vegas.

I moved to Nevada from Michigan in 2007 and I love it. It does have some negatives but so does everywhere else. There is more to Nevada than just the strip. There is alot of beautiful area and lots to do and if you like eating it has so many places to choose from. Plus being so close to Cali is always a plus.😊

Something to be aware of in the Reno, Carson City, Minden areas of Nevada is the smoke from fires in California. For the last few years we have endured weeks of unhealthy air quality every summer due to that smoke which keeps you inside if you care about your health. I’m not kidding, it is really bad.

I wish that everyone would listen to you about being nice to each other, then there wouldn't be much crime. Thank you for this wonderful video

Lived in Remo Nevada since 2008. Moved from Virginia and do not miss the humidity. One down side to all those people and businesses moving here is traffic. We now have traffic. Not terrible yet but much worse than before.

Man, the humidity during this year's monsoon season was brutal. I'm sure you all saw the videos. And the storms can be intense, with or without rain. And every street is under construction. EVERY. SINGLE. STREET! I do love it, but will probably move to an expat community in Mexico, in the next few years.

I just moved to Nevada 2 months ago... from Oregon. Having now lived in 6 different states, I can say I like the climate--in spite of the heat--and love the desert. The sunshine is awesome. (Among the things I disliked the most about Oregon were the climate and the pollen.)

I've lived in Vegas area cumulatively for 6 years and vacationed here twice a year for many years before that. You definitely got the weather wrong. July is pretty consistently above 110. Being a Maine native I love the weather here and late fall/winter is the best. I don't have kids but hear from neighbors that schools are terrible unless you live in summerlin or Henderson. We wanted to buy a house in Henderson but their housing is a lot higher and so are property taxes. North las vegas is fantastic. You can't beat the lifestyle here, everything is easy except commuting.

Moved to Mexico from Reno. I miss a few things, but the rent is NOT low. Neither is the cost of property.

I've lived in Nevada since 2019. No regrets. If you enjoy outdoor activity (e.g., hiking, mountain biking), there's plenty to do here. Desert. Mountains. Forests. Lakes. Rivers. I've resided in both Carson City and Reno. They are short drives from Lake Tahoe. We also have Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, Valley of Fire State Park, and Great Basin National Park. Plus, we have incredible wildlife: bighorn sheep; black bears; mountain lions; tarantulas; scorpions; rattlesnakes. The only one I have yet to see is a mountain lion. Fingers crossed. No, I'm not kidding.

Have family that lives in Nevada. When I visited, they took me to the smaller local areas, the people were cool. Loved Sam's Town.✌️

I left Southern California and moved to Carson City, Nevada. Carson City is the Capital of Nevada and it has almost 60, 000 people. In many ways it's like a small town. Yet, at the same time it has most of the stores I'd want to go to. After living in the LA area for decades, living in Carson City is like a dream come true for me. Right now we're seeing a light snow fall and things are very quiet and peaceful where I live.

Las Vegas sounds like a dream compared to Florida where wages are low, property taxes are fairly high and property prices are through the stratosphere in the metro areas and suburbs.
