easier, cheaper way to make Alfredo is butter, cream cheese, garlic, parmesean, just a little bit of heavy cream, and oregano & basil.
it tastes way better than this would.

I usually add flour to my Alfredo sauce as a rue. I also add garlic powder, garlic, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning.

Idk what was that but I found a recipe that tasted pretty good. So you make a roux first, mix the flour and butter and cook it for a little bit. Add half a cup of chicken stock, half a cup of milk and half a cup of heavy cream. Add grated parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, a pinch of garlic and onion powder. Adjust to your liking, less liquid if you want it thicker or more if thinner. More seasoning to liking too. Parsley is optional too.

Everyone is complaining about them not using spices and stuff but considering the fact that they usually cook for 20+ kids from all ages and with different tastes and probably allergies it is only normal to keep recipes to a minimum of ingredients.

Authentic Italian Alfredo is two ingredients, rich butter and Parmesan cheese tossed with drained fettucine. The addition of cream etc is a N. American invention.

It's just basic. They said what they usually do but said you could add what you like. I would add garlic and a little basil and oregano. Not parsley because it really doesn't taste like anything. I usually add a little of the dry parmesan that you sprinkle on pizza after I put it over the noodles too. Yummy!
