My mother migrated to Brazil in 1929 with her whole family to work on coffee plantations in the interior of the state of São Paulo where I was born, she grew up speaking only Italian until she was 12 years old, so she absorbed all Italian culture and passed it on to my sister and me, I remember her making pasta exactly like you did. Watching her video reminded me of her. Thanks for sharing!

I made this successfully for the first time and it is so amazing! I saved pasta water and I use that for the leftovers and it’s almost like the first time I made it. I love it WAY more than jarred sauce. I’m only making it this way from now on.
