As someone who has worked in a Italian restaurant for 10 years I can confirm this is how you make alfredo. Italian food is so easy and great ingredients are the most important thing especially quality parmigiano reggiano and superb olive oil. Canned San Marzano tomatoes will change your life. Also make sure you are not using 5 year old spices and herbs because they loose flavor. Those are my tips to you.

I am not an Alfredo sauce expert....the reason why I found this is because I like olive garden's Alfredo sauce. When I made this the first time, I thought the taste was great, but the consistency is a little on the thin side. This time I added a little corn starch slurry, and it thickened it up just right. Just an fyi to people who might like a thicker sauce. Thank you so much for this recipe! This is going into my "keeper" recipe list!😊

Don't forget to add some of your own or someone else's hair to the dish for that authentic Olive Garden aesthetic

As a former OG cook, use both shredded and grated parmesan. The shredded gives it the "stretchy cheese" look. They use a 50/50 mix I think but they also make 10 gallons at a time

I make alfredo sauce this way often. Once I did, I NEVER bought store bought again. NOTE: DON'T USE GRATED PARMESEAN LIKE KRAFT THAT JUST SITS ON THE ROOM TEMPERATURE SHELVES. If you have the money or can afford to splurge on it, it's worth it to buy a block of parmesean cheese and grate or shave it yourself. 😋

I tried this and it turned out AWESOME! The video was really great because it was straight to the point, explained well, was simple, and didn't over talk about stuff and didn't make it look all hard and intimidating like some of the professionals. Thank you for this awesome video, the family loved the alfredo sauce! I made a 2nd pot of it and added some pesto to it as well!

Just made this for dinner (I work evenings), but added a lil cayenne because Louisiana ya know? Turned out pretty good. I'm looking forward to the heartburn later.
