Lost In Space Jupiter 2 Scenes

These are clips, in order, of the Jupiter 2 from episodes 1 - 3.
Some clips are awkward and that's because I took out the scenes in between the Jupiter 2 clips which gives you some redundant scenes. Crash landing is one clip.

Just LOVE this spaceship! This is still my favorite vehicle from all the science fiction series! But NOTHING can ever top the sound of those engines! Hands down the best sound effect of a spaceship engine of ALL TIME!

The Jupiter 2, like the Seaview, were just incredibly beautiful designs -- the crash landing was one of the most perfectly executed sequences ever. It's still awesome to watch -- the flying saucer emerging from the sunlit mist, skimming between the vast columns of stone. It's just fantastic, memorable stuff.

4:07 and I'm 7 years old again, glued to the 19 inch black and white tv. I can watch that crash landing, coupled with the BEST spaceship sounds and music accompaniment, every day.

I was a mesmerized 6 year old when this first aired in UK and thought it was the most fantastic show ever. Watching on a black & white TV I became obsessed what colour the J2 might be. I always thought yellow ..and was wrong of course.. no doubt I was influenced by the Flying Sub on Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.

It’s interesting at 2:20 you can see the full-size free-standing exterior prop/set of the J2 with the real cast inside, then at 2:25 they switch to the model with the so obvious dolls inside. They used that full-sized free-standing J2 in only a couple of episodes such as season 3’s “Visit to a Hostile Planet”.

The black and white episodes of Lost In Space were the best in my opinion. My favorite episode was The Keeper because of Michael Rennie’s performance and the monsters the Keeper had in his menagerie. There were episodes that had many memorable moments such as the Robinsons and Don discovering evidence of a civilization on the planet they crashed on. And many others.

Lost in Space the original what's my favorite program I used to watch that every week it was a very nice show I wish it would have lasted longer 5 years for the bed good instead of three I loved it
