what if i tick only previous windows installation and delete it. leaving the rest of things unchecked ??

Thank you, this is the only method I have tried that actually worked. The other methods like temporary files etc. did not.
However, does anyone know how to delete Windows off of a hard drive from another computer? I am using a hard drive for storage and have 800+ MB on it, so I don't want to format it, but I would like to reclaim the Windows space by deleting it. No matter how I try to delete it, I get the same error message, "you don't have the permissions necessary to do this".
