How to Delete Windows.old After Windows 10 Upgrade

1. Click start button in Windows search box, type Cleanup, then click Disk Cleanup.
2. Click the "Clean up system files" button.
3. Cleanup will scan Windows files, this may take some time. Tick files you wish to remove and click OK. It will then do another scan, wait then scroll down the list until you see Previous Windows installations, tick and click OK.

That's it. you have just reclaim 25GB of space.

after I have upgraded to windows 10 anniversary my computer has been really really slow, been getting low fps on 1st person shooter games like csgo. Went from 100 fps to 50fps. is it because of this file or the new update? I dont know if it is a good idea to go back to the older version of windows 10. Please Help

Thanks Brian! I used CCleaner for .old folder removal. It just left a few drivers in at 905kb and had to use MoveOnBoot to delete them. OK, so how to get rid of the folder that says Windows 10 Upgrade (14mb)?
