i have a BCI file in a few folders in F:\ it will not delete.
i went to cmd and typed (del/f F:\folder name\folder name\folder name\file name) enter
and a blank space showed in cmd but nothing seemed to happen.
but.... i whent back to the file and r clicked and this time it had the del option. and so the file and all the folders are now gone ;)

PART of the problem is that the instructions are incomplete. You have to leave a space (as he shows) between some of the elements AND put a \ not forward slash between the last elements as he shows, but does not say OR leave it out as he DOES say.

When you get to the search bar on the right side, make sure you are in APPS. when you type cmd. When the prompt appears on the left, rt click it and choose run as administrator from the bottom. Type EXACTLY what you see.

All who get Access denied try run the CMD as Administrator
and do what he do in the video!!.

thank you, but i am the ONLY user and have FULL administrative privileges. I've gone through every layer of assignment to assure that.

furthermore, using this technique, i managed to completely wipe out my start menu tiles, and was forced to restore the OS. Afterwards (now), the default tiles are inoperable.

if you google both the admin/windows.old and the tile issue, you will see they are extremely common, and nowhere is a solution to be found.
