I recently left Christianity after being a devout believer for about 20 years. Over time, I came to realize that the religion felt more like a brainwashing cult. Looking back, I never really had any genuine friendships during those years. The people I was close to didn’t care about me as a person; they only saw me through the lens of Christianity and God’s perspective. It was heartbreaking to realize that many religious people lack real love, compassion, forgiveness, and empathy on their own. They felt like puppets, controlled by their puppet master. Their actions seemed driven solely by obedience to God’s word. It’s a sad way to live, but I’m grateful to be free of it now.

Not sure what I cringed at more, Deepak's ignorance or Jean's terrible accents.

Chopra is desperate. He is saying all previous God and religious ideas have been bullshit, let's invent and define them all in a futuristic fashion. Only this way he can preserve his nonsense going.

Deeper knowledge of self doesn't help this physical world and life.
Science has provided immense help in advancing civilization and Saving it.

Just started, but sorry Depe, off by a factor of 1000 on the number of neurons in our brains. Admittedly, we haven’t counted yours…

Sam’s sharp observation and reasoning here that I had watched a few years ago made me borderline atheist. Then his talk on Death cemented it… 😅

Some theories in quantum physics suggest that consciousness could be linked to quantum phenomena, raising intriguing questions about the nature of the soul and what happens after death. Near-death experiences, where individuals report vivid encounters, have also sparked debates about the continuity of consciousness. Could quantum processes explain these phenomena, or even point towards an afterlife? How might concepts like quantum entanglement or superposition offer insights into the survival of the soul beyond physical death?

The presence of that woman on that stage was very unnecessary.

So at 30:00 in the middle of them debating over the observer effect in quantum physics.. aka.. NOT sex or anything relating to sex.. the lady chimes in and says “I’m listening as a woman”.. and the crowd applauds her and she actually pauses to receive it for a second 😐 and claims she has a different prospective as a woman.. and proceeds to not make a feminine perspective. I had to rewind to see if I missed something. She literally got an applauses.. for declaring what sex she is, completely arbitrarily. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦‍♂️I guess I just needed to point that out. As you were 😮‍💨

Repackaging the same video again. I like it because the exposure on this video/live discussion is amazing, but I also hate it because the false expectation of thinking I’m clicking into a new live discussion panel with Sam and deepak.

You don't need Any God to make this a better world. We need just good Human Beings.... So leave God out of it. He or she is not around he was there d be no killing, rape, poverty

These guys are all confused about consciousness. Consciousness is an emergent property. Consciousness is a result of having chemical and electronic sensors combined with a complex brain (and body). You touch yourself and feel yourself and become conscious of yourself. The anesthesiologist give you a bit of chemical to numb your sensors and you become unconscious. And he can reverse it. 😂😂😂

All creatures can only have life within God according to their lifespan, and time has meaning only in the world of humanity, so instead of holding the doctrine of the debate whether God exists or not, in my opinion, human debates today are to reach to the true concept of man, which prohibits people from any desire for authority, that the desire for authority in humans ignites the real foundation of all violence and belligerence among humans, so how better to plan doctrinal debates in such a way that people It should lead to its true essence, that is, teachability or the algebraic option that is the ruling doctrine.

At 86 I say that we are eternal and I base my judgment on a little poem that I composed some fifty years ago. It goes like this : ETERNITY, I have been the sky and I have been the sea. I have been the wind and I have been the tree. This is why I know that I was, that I am and that through the quantic atoms of my body, when I die, I will join millions of bodies for millions of years, sometimes even a human body. For me the evidence of God is most evident in everything on earth and in the infinite. Reality is as evident as the nose in our face. All religions and sacred books have tried in the past, in the present and will try in the future to offer us eternity as a premium for belonging to their creed, while we, as part of everything in the universe, enjoy the presence of God inside our quantic atoms. Humanity must make the effort to lift itself to reality and eternity, for peace in our heart and in the world. Michel Di Sclafani
