Beware of people who cannot admit when they are wrong.

Sam Harris’ core world view is that he’s always right.

Sam is the poster boy for the hubris of intellect and how it leads us into error.

Sam Harris has lacked the ability, at multiple junctures, to admit that he has been empirically wrong on several....very consequential topics. I've lost all respect for him.

The pandemic was essentially a test to weed out those who succumb to fear, sacrificing their core beliefs. A majority failed this test... Sam amongst them

Man. This was cathartic. I’ve been feeling this for a long time about Sam. I was a such a huge fan for a long long time and have lost all respect.

Calling Sam Harris a free thinker is like saying Neil deGrasse Tyson is an alpha male

It's clear that Sam Harris' number one priority is being right. I'm sure his self identity is entirely reliant on being infallible in his own eyes. The tragedy is that this has made him look ridiculous in everyone else's.

Sam Harris is a High Priest of the Religion of Government Expertism.

Humans are NOT IN CONTROL of life and for some humans that is terrifying!!!

Shellenberger is awesome. Wish we had a thousand more journalists like him.

What most people in this audience think about Sam is exactly how I feel about Brett. I certainly understand the feeling of grave dissapointment, and frankly confusion, in oneself for missing something that seems so obvious in hindsight. I like to check in from time to time on Darkhorse and it is a strange experience to read the comments. I am sure many people feel the same way as me if they listen to a recent Making Sense. Strange times we are living in right now. Peace and love to everyone through our squabbling.

Spot-on! 👍🏻

Bret! 🙋🏻‍♀️ Tim Pool just invited you to come on his show. Please do it. He and his audience need a deeper understanding of your positions.

Sam Harris is such an intellectual lightweight. His most prominent, defining characteristic is his mistaken belief in his own capacity.

Sam’s claims to rational thinking and his ability to get butt hurt over trivial matters never sat right with me. He seems like the type of person to brag about holding a grudge for 20 yrs as if thats a good thing.

"Ironically, for someone who says he's an atheist and says that we're driven by emotions and passions, he has...a great overestimation of his ability to avoid being trapped in various emotionally and pride-bound arguments." No kidding, I have seldom met an atheist who didn't fit into this description hand-in-glove. And I'm in academia, I've met a few.

For years I said sammy was a turd & evil but by friends laughed. They aren't laughing now. Right again.

Michael politely said what I've been saying - Sam Harris is stuck up and full of it. He sounds smart, but its the affect of a Beverly Hill rich kid.
