Beetlejuice 1988 Runtime is 1h 32 min. Micheal Keaton screen time is only 17 minutes. He stated he didnt want anymore screen time in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice so what you said makes a lot of sense!

I don't want to spend money on legacy sequels in theaters anymore but I love the first movie and I'm sure that I will stream it down the road. Most legacy sequels are lazy and just leeching off nostalgia but maybe it can pull off a Top Gun Maverick and feel like its own movie.
