Beetlejuice hasn’t seen The Exorcist as much as Mark.

I'd lowered my expectations after some critics didn't like it but I loved it. Nice to see Burton getting his mojo back. It was the most Burtonesque film he's made in ages. I think he's realised that tastes have come round to meet him again after Wednesday and I'm here for it..

I really appreciate this movie being shorter than most AAA franchise movies. It was fun, quick, didn't overstay.

One of the most bonkers films I have seen recently. It's great to have Tim Burton back on form cos this is the best film he has made in ages. That McArthur Park section is pure genius too.

I went in with zero expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It was fun and didn't dip into the memberberry sauce of forcing every little thing from the original. And most importantly, it felt like a true sequel, a distinct, yet continuation of the same characters.

Final baby scene reminded me of Trainspotting.

I loved it! ❤the years just melted away and it was every bit as entertaining as before. If i had to critique it would be not enough of The Juice on screen! Overall, it is a very worthy sequel ❤

I really enjoyed it. Creative, ghoulushly amusing, and refreshing to see lack of obvious cgi with emphasis on great sets and practical fx. Plus goth Bellucci made my year with the Mario Bava flashback deliciously inspired. Best thing Burton has done in years.

They don't make 'em like that anymore. Seriously. I mean, it had full opening credits. Like films used to do. I cannot remember the last new film I saw before this which did that

Tim Burton like Ridley Scott are directors whose filmography would be even more impressive if they simply did 1/2 - 2/3 as much as they have!

The film is complete chaos, and it's wonderful, (Ghostbusters sequels were good fun also) Comparing Beetlejuice to Edward Scissorhands a rather stupid as they're very different beasts and Burton seems to be having a bit of fun currently and there's nothing wrong in that.

Glad you enjoyed it Mark. Sadly, I was disappointed but perhaps my expectations were too high. 🤷🏽‍♂

The other fun bit of the credentials scene in the first is where he briefly shifts into his "normal" voice before going back into full tilt.

I agree with the listener but also agree it was better than expected and I loved the scenes with all the classic gags especially the train spotting reference

It's great to see Catherine O'Hara in a box office topping movie again.

the finale surely was a nod to Carrie, the Fly and a Nightmare on Elm street all at the same time, not that that takes away in any way - loved it

Justin Theroux as Rory reminds me of Steven Seagal, especially as a self-serving, shallow character. 🤣

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is one of the best/well-made sequels that I’ve seen in a long time.
