My High school teacher told us on graduation day “Don’t do something you’re passionate about, do something you know you’re good at because passion is not always going to be there”

2. Brainstorm a list of it weakness/ dislikes
3. Consider what u enjoy doing
4. Describe and imagine the life u want (present tense)

Are there lenses in your glasses? They have reflections all over the frames and nothing on the lenses.

As someone who's about to graduate with a doctorate and has seen so many people struggle to decide what they want to do with their life, here's what I think this video lacked.
1. Find a job field you're passionate about. You don't have to be good/like every subject you're studying. I'm in pharmacy and i disliked biology.
2. Find a job thats in the market (sort of). The job market sucks now but there are degrees that have never provided jobs in the market. Even if you do get a degree in something you're passionate about, if there aren't jobs for it, you will end up depressed and working a job you dislike. PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND :) i've just seen this happen toooo many times.

In human development; there’s a phase that young adults question about their existence and how their abilities are useful to the environment around them. It could be the work place, college or at home. The point here is that is pretty normal at that age to ask about yourself and what helps a lot as Jess said; is discovering your interests and more factors in you. That can be done by a personal branding workshop and it can be in groups or personal

I really love this series about careers and work-life! It suits my current life situation (just graduated from University) perfectly!
My dream job is to be a student counselor/study guide (opinto-ohjaaja in Finnish). I still have a long way to go...

I’ve got the highest grades in class, but I’m disinterested in all of it. I don’t have any talents, or hobbies that I really enjoy.
And there’s my mom, who wants me to become a scientist or something. I don’t mind science and I’m good at it, but it’s not something I enjoy. She doesn’t take no for an answer.

I’ll try the tips you gave, I hope it’ll help. Thank you very much for this video.

Hi Jess!!! Thankyou for this video!!!! I'm in year 10 and I've been confused on what I should do in year 11 and 12 and then in college. I really love to create music and art because I love to express myself creatively. I was unsure if I should pursue it but I really want to pursue it. Your video was very inspiring!!!

And I should thank my mom too for having me watch this video.
Now I can decide what I REALLY want to be. 🙂😉

How to choose a major at uni! I chose mine a long time ago, but I have a lot of undeclared friends who are stressing out about this. Love you Jess!

adjectives to describe my ideal life:
