The X758 has a Yanmar engine, not Kubota. Suitcase weights are 42lbs each, not 36lbs as stated in the video.

That's a yanmar diesel in your John Deere tractor. Kubota tractors are orange they have kubota engines in them

I thought the engine was an yannmar. And I own a 2016 x730 with a 54inch hc auto connect mower deck and a 47 inch snowblower! Great machine! And nice video!

It's a yanmar, and it's a garden tractor, going on almost sub compact. It's not a lawn mower and it doesn't have a Kubota engine. You need to know your machines better

My X370 will cut a hill like that with no problem. 2wd, no weights. I hope you didn’t spend all that money just for that hill. By the way, John Deere does not use Kubota engines. That’s a Yanmar diesel.

it would mow that slope easily without the add on weights. If you actually had a steep hill it would be more beneficial to load the tires.

That’s about 30 degree hillside. I don’t think you need the weights unless you have some bagger system on back then you should compensate on the front side. Great looking tractor! That would be my next tractor if I ever get rid of my 425.

I don’t know about what other people are saying about mowing that steep with a two wheel drive mower. I think that a 4wd is probably necessary on that hill. However, you should know that that is a 3 cylinder Yanmar diesel. Kubota is Japanese as well but Kubota makes their own mowers and JD would never use their engines, because they want to be “original”.

I have the same x758 diesel too. Great Tractor, I just wish that my john deere dealership carried parts for the engine. I have to make a trip to my kubota dealer to get oil filter etc for the engine. Your tractor sure handled that steep hill easily.
