Tilling with my new 42" Frontier Tiller. Powered by the John Deere X758, the 3 Cylinder Diesel with 4WD has plenty of power for this task. I'll use the shovel bucket on the front to help spread that pile of dirt.

It will till the soil up much more fine and clean if you go slower. I know that's kind of hard to do with a foot hydro, but you don't have to go that fast across it. Just creep along. Then you won't have to keep going over it.

If you don't mind me asking, how much was all of that together? I have an old early 2000 era riding mower, but I need to replace it. I have 3 acres and I want the tiller and snow removal attachments and I have been looking at this x758.

What made you go with this machine over a subcompact out of curiosity, I know the 3pt an rear pto Is an option that are added. so at that point your way over the price of say like a 1025r. honestly I've done my home work on both an my needs would be perfect for say the x738 gas version of this. I know you mentioned the diesel being a better tractor but for my needs it's fine.

Dumb question. How do you clean the tires before you put away ?

Nice tractor and property. How do you like the front shovel? Is it worth the investment? Thanks

How much did you pay for the Three point hitch and PTO kit for the x758?

I really like your setup. I’ll be buying a x758 here soon too. May I ask, what is on the front of your snow plow? Is there a name for the bucket attachment?

does your machine make any strange noises when steering or speeding up or slowing down. Nay front end chatter happening?

Think this little 42" Frontier tiller would be perfect for my 18 HP Kubota tractor but look as I have I am unable to locate these. Where can I see one or better yet where can I buy one. Thanks

Seems like pretty wet soil to be tilling.A cultivator would open up to dry without making mud rocks and could be tilled when dry especially if lots of clay.. Over tilling creates too fine a soil which becomes like concrete. There must be a smaller machine for that small an area.

Creosote logs have no business in a garden. Maybe it's just flowers.
