I ve kicked it up a notch from harsh cold stressors to visiting my mother in law every day.
Very effective training.

I’ve started sleeping in my freezer. I can now keep my eyes open when i sneeze AND I can teleport 3 feet in any direction. Life changing!

cold showers and deep breathing for 3 years now, it does lower stress and heart rate if done consistently. I also noticed (for me at least) that making decisions became easier

I've been taking a 5 min cold shower from 42-50°F after going to the gym since 6 months. Now I could walk in short + t-shirt in rough winter if I wanted to. He said it many times, the key is to put your body through struggles: hard exercise, intermittent fasting, cold shower.

It's true. One benefit that stood out the most was increased alertness, focus, and energy.

This makes sense, as I've always noticed the profound positive effects on alertness, and general mood after snorkeling in the mountains.

4 years of daily cold showers. You can't get used to it but the more you accept cold and breathe whatever way your instict tells you to survive it, the better you become at handling it.

I’ve never done cold water immersion or anything related and during this video I thought of a few questions that I was worried you wouldn’t bring up. You answered every question I thought of while watching this. I’m very happy with this video and I feel like I can easily do this without any additional research on the topic due to the detail in the video. Thank you.

The best way is to begin with 10 seconds of exposure while learning to take deep breaths. Is a tough psychologic exercise, but It builds excellent mental resilience.

I did my first ice bath today. Didn’t exactly have ice, but I had a lot of ice packs which work the same. Was only able to do about five minutes but I feel terrific and I’m looking forward to keep doing this every day. By doing something new is this creating also neural plasticity I hope so.

Never understood science, and not saying I'm a perfect example of fitness, but one of the reasons I like living in Alaska is that the winter always made me feel "alive".

When I started taking cold showers I started noticing that about a minute or 2 into the shower I would just start singing. I realized that the cold showers were instantly making me happy. Now I like to take a cold shower and then ride my bike home in 32 degree weather in shorts & no shirt
I don't like it but I love it
Its addicting

I ski as much as I can during the winter partly for this reason. There’s something about being exposed to cold that feels good
