Wait don't you spackle over it? It makes no sense to just pit the patch over a large hole then paint over At least prime over it yes?

The problem in a bathroom is humidity can cause the patch to contract and expand differently which I would guess create a visible issue or the sticker losing adhesion.

😂 who is Diaz construction and what did he do to deserve a mention on an unrelated video. I’ll go down the rabbit hole, search into Diaz construction, anything specific I should be looking for?

On the product, totally agree, it’s not a fix, it’s a mask, just hiding the hole. You might as well just use packing tape over the hole and then paint over it, they just added steps, packaging and form factor to make unknowing buyers think it’s an actual product that actually does something. Funny really.
I know patching isn’t something everyone can do, but it’s like selling a sticker for a leaky pipe, just to hide it.
It’s not really a wall repair, you just can’t see it anymore.
