Hi there! I just found your channel yesterday when searching for how to handle stripped screws. I’ve now watched quite a few of your videos and they are all great! Your content is so easy to understand and follow, super informative, and all kept to a reasonable length. I’d also like to let you know that I appreciate that you aren’t following the same formula as everyone else with the “hey, guys”… “and, be sure to click that ‘like’, ‘follow’”, blah blah blah 😁 … I appreciate that you just get in there and start on the content directly without all that nonsense! But, you’re clever in giving us a “next video” to watch. Love, love, love your channel and can’t wait to watch and learn even more from you!

I keep some of the 20 minute dry time mud (dry mix) around for fixes like this. If you use warm water it accelerates the dry time a bit. You have to get used to working quicker with it, and working with smaller batches when you mix it. Nice video ...

Glad I found this one. I have about a dozen small to medium size drywall holes to repair. I'd be lost without your video. Thanks!!!

Great video. I would recommend using a hot mud like 5 or 20 min for faster drying times.

It’s all in the details. This is a very good explanation on how to fix this very common issue. Just so happens I need this done and had watched other videos but this is the best. Thank you

Another Fantastic video Daru 👍Great work! I love the pressure you use on wall so not to add more material than needed. I think many make the mistake of leaving too much and making a hump. Love your tips❤

I'm a huge fan of the squeeze tube spackle that comes in like a large toothpaste shaped container with tip on it. You can just squeeze however much you need and you dont have all that waste compared to using buckets of spackle. Its also less messy. If you have 300 finish nail holes to fill with spackle, it's definitely faster to use a squeeze tube.

This is a great demonstration. One flaw - you complain about the time the joint "mud" takes to cure without pointing out the solution. You don't have to use pre-mixed joint compound. You can use powder and mix up just as much as you need. The powder keeps forever if you keep it dry, but the big advantage is you can buy your desired cure time as low as 5 minutes. I usually buy the 20 minute stuff.
