The big things kids (young adults), don't ever really get if they grow up in a church/christian home. That the wages of sin is indeed despair and death. I went apostate not even a year after highschool, after a false conversion/baptism/church membership. It took a decade till I was brought to my knees after loosing everything
Thanks be to God he didn't give me death, even at what was about to be the end when i was consumed with bitter despair, hatred, and about to end myself.
There wasn't meaning in the death of Christ until I had experienced what I needed to be saved from.
Parents of grown kids, dont stop praying for them. And parents of young teens, show them documentaries and testimonies of those whose lives were brought to ruin from the pursuit of lust, greed, pride, gluttony, wrath, etc.
The petty child seeds of these sins are too small for sheltered kids to comprehend their gravity and end. Unless God saves them before and spares them, they will fall without severe graphic warning

Please pray for me. I deliberately rejected Christ for so long, almost a year. I was a professing Christian for about 1 year, and I walked away with the intention to get saved later, and to just enjoy sin for a little while. I was an apostate and now I am scared that with the amount of light i have been given I might commit the unforgivable sin. My issue is that I don't want to surrender my sin. I know I can't do it without God but I dont want God. I wish I wanted God, but I'm not sure if that feeling is genuine or not. I still love sin and I wish I didnt love my sin, I'm not sure if this feeling is sincere or genuine. I've been praying for God to make me hate my sin, but I'm not sure if those prayers are sincere or genuine. Please pray that my desire for salvation becomes genuine and sincere and that I get saved.

My best friend is a volitional atheist. Means he chooses not to believe in favor of his life, sin and morality. He's heard the truth so much that he HATES when i bring it up with him. The hardening is REAL. It can look so bad that a person feels as if they are on fire hearing words of God from you. Some people will be in hell and love it i think. I mean i don't think he will even repent or feel like repenting even there. He's not a weeper. He's a gnasher. All the way. He's a good friend. Known him 24 years. But he will NEVER choose Christ on his own. Unless God calls him, it won't happen. That what it looks like when you see it though. He's even had SEVERAL near death events related to high BP and heart surgery. Each time i pleaded with him to choose God before the procedures. Each time he respectfully rejected and pleaded with me to "STOP DOING THAT WITH ME. IM NOT INTERESTED".

he knows the truth. Just full on apostate. Hes not dead yet. Perhaps there is time in Gods timing. That gives me some hope.

I wish I could go back. My sexual sin. Alcohol. Drugs. Porn. Prideful weight lifting. Arrogantly believing I’m ok. I’ve repented. However my wife passed away I’ve suffered injuries. Thinking about my own passing. My faith wobbles. Jesus is.
