I've heard rumors about a significant increase in Medicare Part B premiums in 2024. It's a bit concerning.

It's all going to be difficult for me. I guess I will have to quit seeing the Dr and taking prescription drugs. It isn't fair. I worked my whole life for this? Why?

Any increase is absurd....the government should regulate these ridiculous drug prices in part b as well as part d....
It's time we put a stop to the financial rape of the social security recipient.
I'm so sick of this we all stick together and bellyache to our congressmen and well as our state representatives...we might get some change

Why every one retired senior has to pay for Alzheimer disease drug, if only 10.7% have that problem?

This is so crazy I really don’t understand how the government works cause you have people on fixed income and has to pay for insurance like the elderly and disabled .But if you young and don’t want to work the government will give you free insurance food stamps and anything else you need while the elderly are struggling to get meds and food makes no sense to me

For decades the very small increase in COLA didn't even cover the increase in Mcare premium. Srs didn't even break even for decades. Too many Srs are living in poverty because all those tiny increases left them farther and farther behind. So much was made of 2023 increase as if it was a GIFT! Gimme a break! 10/4, 3:10 p

It's ridiculous what they make seniors pay for that .

No I wouldn't welcome an increase in the Medicare premium. Social security recipients received a raise of 8.7% in January 2023. That was a welcome cola adjustment. Why raise the premium?! It would take away from raise we received. How is that helping us?! Even though their projecting a 3% cola increase for January 2024. Why keep giving cola increases if you're just gonna reduce it by raising the Medicare premium?!

Sad sad sad...there should be no increase. Seniors should be treated better in this country!!

This is ridiculous. What raise from cola. Medicare comes in to take a share of that raise and don't pay crap for medical care. What the hell do they do but take money from fix income people. We have to to take out supplemental health insurance to cover cost and that doesn't either. Copayment for everything

It doesn’t matter every time we get a raise insurance goes up so then we probably get a $40 raise!!

Why do we have to pay anything? We've paid into this our entire life.

Any increase is absurd. We were told medicine will start to be negotiable. So why would there be a need to increase? Just plan greed!

everything is doubling in price. $10 doesn't seem like much except that gas, groceries, etc have risen dramatically. Some things I see in the store have doubled and tripled in price. when is it going to stop

I don’t see where we should be paying at all. We work all our lives then have to pay.

The problem is just about everything is going up. For instance, home and car insurance. Taxes on homes went up significantly because of the new appraisal on our homes. Out of pockets keep going up.
So seniors with a fixed income are worrying about the future. Oh, don’t get me started how much I have lost in my 401k!

It may be $175/month or whatever the social security increase is in my guess…a wash. Senior healthcare is a lot of anxiety and I dread the day when we retire.
