🛑🛑🛑 there should be absolutely no doubt about it we should be guaranteed the money we paid in all our lives from working 2, , 3 jobs at a time.. etc. If the government would quit giving our money to other countries this wouldn’t even be a question we worked hard for that all our life shame on them‼️

Basing SS increase on urban wage earners is nonsense. It should be based on what senior citizens experience. Specifically food, energy, health insurance, rent, home insurance, automobiles and especially property taxes.

A lot of people on Social Security don't know that they don't need to even file taxes. You only need to file if you have a source of income over and above social security.

Great explanation for all this complicated jargon I wish they would do a flat tax so everybody contributes their share and health insurance would be much simpler for the average person and cut through all this nonsense.

So a COLA increase of 2.6% but an increase to Medicare premium of 6.3%? Seems to me there’s a mistake in their COLA analysis. Just this one item is more than double the COLA.

My Medicare plan A starts in one month.
I still work and my larger than 20 employees company provides insurance which precludes me from paying for plan B .
24 hours a week.
I love the work, and will stay until I die.
This channel helped me figure it out after I took my SS at age 62.
TYVM.

Just curious on your thoughts if they will raise the Social Security starting age from 62 to 65 if they raise the full retirement age to 70. Won't affect me as I am 65 but I think about children and grand children. Great Video as usual!

I have Medicare AandB and GEHA.
GEHA just changed coverage as them being prime and Medicare as secondary. I am 79 years old why would they do this? I am on Workers Comp and retired from Federal Government in August 2001.

Already signed up for Medicare Part A - turning 65 Oct 15. Retiring Dec 15. Health Insurance ending Dec 31. I want to start Medicare Part B and Supplemental Plan G Jan 1 2025. When did sign up for part B and the G in order to be covered Jan 1 2025? What forms do I need to complete? Since I am working past 65 and have benefits thru Dec, do I need to complete CMS L564?
