In this video, we learn how to factor a perfect square trinomial. A perfect square trinomial, is a trinomial that is the square of a binomial. We have two setups: x^2+2xy+y^2 (factors into (x+y)^2), and x^2-2xy+y^2 (factors into (x-y)^2).

Sorry about that, I think that starting with generic problems is the only way to get really good. When you work your practice problems, look at the generic examples for reference. Over time, you can just look at them and just know the answer. With math, the only way to do things really fast, is to get a ton of practice. Hope this helps :0

I really liked how you led from the basic formula to the specific problems.  Really helped me a lot.  One suggestion, title your videos in a sequential easier to follow pattern.  This video is titled "blahblah #1"  but I can't find #2.  That said, great video.
