We just transitioned our daughter into sleeping in the nursery full time and it's bittersweet!! Today I'm sharing what we're doing with sleep training to help her take more consolidated naps and sleep through the night at 4 months. I'm also sharing my real and honest thoughts about bouncing back and how I'm taking care of my body in this season. I hope it encourages you!

I love bringing you along my day and finding ways to make ordinary moments extraordinary so thank you for being here and coming along. Love you!

Love the real-life vlogs! Also always love how realistic + vulnerable you are. It’s so incredible how God made women’s bodies, and every season is different…but we all just have to do our best to care for ourselves in whatever season we’re in!

It wasn’t until I was 10 months postpartum that I felt like I could workout consistently again! Until then I just focused on lots of walks outside and eating healthy, Whole Foods.
You are doing amazing and you will get back to a routine once this season is over ❤❤

NICOLE 🫶🏻 you are doing such a great job. I know the thought creeps in that these vlogs are boring, but please know from one mom to another, sometimes you are our community in the moment. You make your vlogs like we’re just Facetiming or something which is so needed in such a lonely world. So maybe you may seem more boring to different crowds, but to the mom crowd these 12 minutes are so refreshing to have another adult human going through similar seasons. 💗🌸🦩

We also did the same thing in regards to sleep training and now 18 months later she does SO well with sleep. We always go back to the same method if she has any rougher nights (which are rare), but she’s in her crib for a full 12 hours each night and 3 hours during her 1 nap — what you’re doing now will be sooo worth it 🫶🏻

Bouncing back is a huge NOOO — we are a generation of moms who will be breaking free from body shame (also the title of a great book by Jess Connolly). I lived by the method of the flamingo… when they have babies and/or go through any type of body trauma, they lose their bright pink color which is sad, but their baby is growing their cutie pink color! But after their bodies have adjusted to their new life/adjusted life, their pink comes back. So get your pink back girlie!! Doesn’t happen overnight 💗🌸🦩
