So are people without an appendix more likely to have issues like IBS? My mother had her appendix removed as a child and later had all sorts of digestive issues. My appendix burst when I was in my early 20's and now, 25 years later, I am starting to have these issues as well. I never would have tied it to my appendix until I saw this
