You could also position the part vertically on the cura print bed and position all but the sizing ring portion below the bed plane. Cura will then only print what’s above the plane. No cutting requires.

I really like how simple and detailed you made this video, thank you. Cant use armor smith as its not on Mac unfortunately so I think I will try loading a body model into Shapr3D and size that body as me then go from there, thank you though as you have helped the process a lot.
