Hermeneutics?!
It’s very simple! Either you have God’s Holy Spirit or you don’t, either you’re born again in Christ or you aren’t.

He will guide you into all truths & prophetic insights, one does not need a book on ‘hermeneutical principals’ or to have an ‘anagogical’ approach to scripture - these are just fancy words for simpletons.

Hermeneutics = interpretational supposition.

These ‘smart approaches’ are a sign that these people have such a hard time understanding, they’ve gone to great lengths just to create silly principles to approaching the Bible - it also confuses things more than they should be.

The scriptures speak for themselves & even a kid can understand them.

Many people run to a 200 page ‘hermeneutical’ principal book which supposedly tells them how to interpret the Bible - no, you don’t need to do that. Most of the people who write these books claim to be wise, but they are not.

So many people conflate & take God’s word out of context instead of accepting it for what it says.

A lot of these people read God’s word & instead of taking it at face value - they say ‘but what did God REALLY mean, what’s BETWEEN the lines?’ This is the same of God telling Adam & Eve not to eat of the fruit - but the devil made them question God & eat it anyways.

Don’t get me wrong though, over-simplifying the Bible is just as bad as over-complicating it. There are hidden meanings & truths which will be revealed via His Holy Spirit, but God will only reveal them to you if you’ve accepted Jesus death as sacrifice for your sins.
