FREE MUSIC PRODUCTION COURSES AND ARTICLES

In this lesson I show you a couple of other quick and easy tricks that might come handy when working on a mix (or any production to be honest). Then we talk about saving your project and exporting/bouncing to audio.

We didn't do any master channel limiting or compression (something we will look at in the future) but for now just enjoy the dynamic variations... :)

Here's a link to the final product if you want to listen. I tend to go for somewhat jarring transitions that get people's interest but don't totally kill the entire mood or mix. With what we've covered so far we should all be capable of making a 30 minute or even hour long mix inside of Bitwig with no problems.

Chances are I will use this particular soundcloud account for all the projects we do in the lessons to follow. If anyone else makes something let me know and I think I should be able to put it into a playlist.

Hello Brian,
The exported audio is much lower in volume compared to when played back in the DAW. Why? My peak hold level is -3.2 DB I've been frustrated by this for a long time. Any suggestions? Help. Thank you.

Hello Brian,

Thank you. Very useful tutorials. I just have a question. My Tracks do not seem to follow the metronome despite of setting then correct tempo on master and inside the inspector window. It seems that it starts OK, but after a while metronome keeps running the same tempo, but the tracks which original tempo was changed starts to offset the metronome signal. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Wsup Brian,

Any idea why I can't click on Export Audio? Everything on the menu is clickable except Export Audio

You should only dither when changing sample rate downwards.
