Performing live with Bitwig Studio just got more exciting with updates to the Clip Launcher in version 5. Thavius Beck explains and demonstrates the new features, such as setting "Next Actions" to occur when you release a controller's pad (as well as launch it), and the purpose of our new ALT triggers.

Okay this is awesome. I have a feature request to build on top of this though. It would be amazing if you could set a short fade in and fade out time between clips, so switching from one clip to the next is a bit let abrupt.

Is the controller script that Thavius is using available already? If yes, where? It does not seem like the script included with Bitwig for the the Launchpad OR DrivenByMoss support this yet... ;((

Cool, exploring bitwig…side note, I have a launch pad and man that thing feels like a toy vs push. But I do like its size/weight and it gets the job done at like 1/10th cost. Thanks boss. 😎🖤🐓

Hmm. What about making clip on or off a modulation source? Could be useful or just crazy. Delay send on / off and pitch envelopes come to mind. There’s prob a way to do it already haha

Can you use the alt triggers with Launchpad Mini, or do you need Pro with its dedicated Shift button?
