I just switched from Ableton to Bitwig (from being a 15 years long Ableton user) because I got one of those Antelope interfaces too that were giving it for free, and I can say I'm enjoying it. Transition is really easy, and the philosophy is mind blowing.

And. . . You can name the track inputs and output, so if you don’t switch your wiring, you don’t even have to reference levels . Just select the correct names channel

So many reasons, support for Linux is another reason because I am not held back by windows, once CLAP is more widely used its also going to perform far better than anything in terms of plugins and extensability.

Hmm. I like Bitwig for its modulation system. Other than that, I do feel like other DAW’s are way better and quicker at doing the same task.

My only problem with daws on computers is due to my reading disability disallowing me from using key commands it’s very frustrating to watch demo after demo that is only for using shortcuts and key commands and not actually navigating the daw with the mouse and keyboard which is the reason I started using iOS for twelve years in film scoring until they denuded the iPads by removing the headphone jack. And didn’t port Logic to iOS .So now it’s back to using a mouse and QWERTY instead of my fingers which was and still is a joy to make electronic music with much more for me than on a computer without touch . And I won’t use an intel machine so hopefully a future update will allow things like export from Korg gadget on the silicon iPad pros into bigwig or a version of bigwig studio on iOS that could export to the desktop even . But I fear everyone is glued to shortcuts which is also why they won’t use iOS apps most of the time . Pass it along if you can to the top . I love bigwig but a touch version would make me stick with it for sure. I left Logic Pro reluctantly because of similar issues but it saddens me that apple just won’t stop destroying that device that now has only one shitty usb c port . Peace Christo👽

If you havent used all the DAWs or even learnt how to bridge DAWS then your just stuck in the "DAWs level up and learn how to bridge to get the best out of all worlds.... they all do the same thing but each have something combine them?? Then you got captain planet... ❤

why in bitwig i cant bounce directly to wav ( its doesnt convert to wav automatic) its bounce to bwclip so next have to export etc. 5 actions Oo
