What about housing for the thousands of homeless New Yorkers and New Jersians?

Thousands of homeless in all cities, and they are blamed for their condition. Well the rate of job pay for regular jobs has not kept up with the cost of living. Infact many real estate companies encourage higher income residents and businesses, which push lower income residents out. That in itself can be considered a humanitarian emergency, yet politicians claim they don' have enough in their budgets. This is a big contradiction

Look I fully understand the tragedy and humanitarian emergency. But, there are humanitarian emergencies right now in our cities

This is getting out of hand, they are going to give them all those new devlopments they are building around the city & its going to be free of charge until they get them jobs & YOUR name will be on the waiting list for another 10 yrs!

I don’t think they should come here... we’re crowded and have a lot of homeless people here... this is insane.... I am not welcoming them sorry.... why can’t they go to Germany or London..

I'm sorry but Americans should be outraged over this.
Can't even help their own but put them up in expensive apartments

I'm all for helping the refugees of that terrible war, but why in the world would you bring them to the single most expensive city in the country??? A city with a major housing crisis, rampant homelessness, and currently in the middle of the worst violent crime wave in decades?

Oh nevermind, I know why - because both NYC and NJ have some of the highest tax rates in the country, and suffered major population loss over the past two years, probably resulting in major budget shortfalls that the local governments are desperate to fill. And more residents = more tax dollars.

Too bad this is a case of "what's good for the city budget is terrible for the city's residents".

Yet, we have millions of homeless with no places to stay. So many people with such fake face. A wolf in sheeps clothing.

No to Bermuda, No to Haiti, No to Somalia, No to Burundi, No to Rwanda, No to Venezuela, No to Mexico..but ...okay no surprise this is happening for them. We all deserve a chance...but only a select few do.

I was never political. But living in America and looking at this and then seeing all the homeless we have in OUR OWN COUNTRY. Like literally why, just why.

Do we not have our problems to deal with? So lets spend millions and billions of dollars to help others and forgot our own problems. Somehow we fixed our housing housing crisis and these people sudden have jobs to get apartments right? Magically we have 100k worth of housing units that somehow are freed up. I hated trump as president, now Brandon is just as bad.
