Recently I tried a can of Sardines and I am hooked. So much flavour than tuna. Thanks, Dr!

Make sure the fish are canned in olive oil or brine. A lot of oily fish is canned in the dreaded seed oil stuff these days. Check the label.

King Oscar Sardines are superb. I made sandwiches with it for lunch, pitched with a little salt and black pepper.

As always, Dr. Boz has the highest regarded, most optimal advice ! Began sardines almost 50 years ago. Grew up as Kosher, couldn't stand dining hall food. Yes, stick the can of sardines in your pocket. Save on eating lunch at work. It all has very well paid off.

Canned fish is preserved in sunflower oil. This oil is extremely unhealthy, but cheap. There are expensive canned fish varieties that use olive oil. Please only eat these.

You, beautiful lady are single handedly responsible for my new found sardine obsession! I am a "food snob" per my friends. On 1 of your shorts, a young man was of similar tastes as me. He had list of his faves...Ive always liked King Oscar occasionally but you (and that gentleman) have me both eating at least 1 can daily and trying several brands I'd never tried before. Love it! 🎉❤🎉❤

The sight, thought and smell of sardines has me running out of the room when my husband opens a can.

I always carry them when I’m traveling. Beats fuelstation food in most places.

I was appalled of them at the beginning, but now I have found myself getting addicted to them! ❤🎉yumm❤

Thank goodness, somewhere along the way, my mother introduced us children to canned sardines. Even before getting to know Dr. Boz every so often, I would get a craving for them. I am of the belief that our body knows what it needs.

I have done two 72 hour sardine fasts... whew... brain rocket fuel!!! And I like the flavour, add some hot sauce (no sugar or crazy garbage)... or clean horseradish .... it is easy to go 72 hours ... although I can't find sardines with skin and bones....

@doctorBoz: how about the metall, the cann, the plumbum, the micoplastic and all the other rubbish waste in these cannes???

Dr. Boz, since I found you not only did I start having a bite of butter 🧈 as a snack when desired but I also have a can of sardines at work as a snack😋
At my desk!!! It's a bit messy but doable 😊 whilst my colleagues get an industrial snack at the vending machine I have a can of sardines and I also take Omega 3 supplements.

I’m good then. I love them and have been eating them since I was a kid.

I appreciate this video and certainly know sardines are amazing. My only concern is that now canned sardines have cancer warnings about the tin…. We can’t catch a break with health foods.
