It’s as if we’ve found the cure for the plague of the 21st century and nobody is listening. Keep up the good work Dr. Ken !

My husband's symptoms became unignorable last year. He is carnivore 87 days now and the difference is drastic. The first month he "cheated" a few times, eating something off plan and the change was drastic and immediate. I could tell he ate something he shouldn't have. His continence changed drastically each time. He's been clean of carbs for the last two months and though he still an occasional bad day it's still better than it was before we went carnivore. He feels the difference and it has been such that he refuses to give in to temptation again.

I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes back in 2021 with a fasting glucose of 511 and an A1C of 15. In May 2023, my A1C was a 9.2 and as of August 21st, it is now a 5.8 with a fasting glucose of under 100 on a consistent basis. I began my ketogenic diet journey on April 10, 2023 to take control of the diabetes and realized that my IR was changing when the skin tags on the right side of my neck literally disappeared within 4 weeks of starting a keto diet. I will never stop doing keto because I have seen the changes that have taken place within my body. I have lost about one dress size within the past 3-4 months and this is without doing strenuous exercise. Even my primary care physician cannot believe that I reversed the diabetes within 3-4 months!

My 81 year old father has Alzheimer’s/Dementia and has steadily declined for over 5 years now. So hard to watch. I don’t want to end up in the same place. I just turned 47 yesterday and I thank God I found this lifestyle and community 🙌🏼 Over a month in.

I lost my dad at 69 from Alzheimer’s.
Awful way to go.
My poor father.
I’m not going out that way.
The #1 reason I started carnivore.
I’m 54 and lift weights.
I cut out all processed foods, carbs and sugar.
I feel amazing and will never go back to the SAD.
Miss you Dad.

People with Alzheimer's disease are removed from the society "for their own good", but imo also at least half of the reason is that people don't like to face disturbing things and this disease is disturbing AF. If we all had to deal with such people on a daily basis, then prevention of Alzheimer's dementia would be among top interests of social media

My 102 year old grandfather never had dementia; homemade wine, cigars, eggs, bacon.

My mother died of Lewy Body Dementia, within a year my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. This sent me on a mission to find some answers, thank God I found you Dr. Berry. It’s been 8 years of Keto/low carb and I no longer search for words or struggle with remembering names or places. I have shared my story with others in the hope that they too can wake up and smell the sugar but it all seems to fall on deaf ears. People would rather listen to their learned doctor with his his handy dandy prescription pad, he is after all the one who went to medical school.
I will continue to share my story in the hope that it may help someone one day.
Bless you for all you do and to those you have helped!

The FIRST thing they do when a person is put in a nursing home with these issues or any other issue, is put them on a low fat, high carb diet! The very WORST thing for them. The brain needs fat!! The body needs far to survive! No one seems to talk about this issue! I believe you are right about what you said here!!

Both of my parents had it and both died. Their diet as they aged was very high carb and sugar. Pie for lunch and dinner. Thank you Dr Berry for educating us!

My sister was recently diagnosed with “moderate” stage Alzheimer’s. She seems to have progressed quickly in the past few months. Thank you for this information. Since I have been doing keto/ low carb and have been doing intermittent fasting for several years now this gives me a lot of hope.

I’ve been watching my Mom slowly, and painfully slip away. I cared for her as long as I could, but now she is hospitalized with dementia. I truly hope others can help their loved ones ( and themselves)who are not as far gone as my Mom!🙏💕

And avoid alcohol! My wife who treats Veterans has found that under certain meds, when a patient stops drinking, certain dementia disappears almost entirely

Thanks for what you do. 6 month on keto and 3 on carnivore. My labs came back fantastic today. Down 44 lbs down and about to be off all meds. Getting off blood pressure meds now. Lowering doses and monitoring. About to end CPAP therapy. Convinced my doctor to start carnivore yesterday. He was amazed at my results.

This is the number one reason I'm carnivore (99%). Both my mother and grandmother had early onset, one in her late 50s, one in her early 60s. I'm in my early 50s now and began to experience cognitive issues. They are gone now. Along with a whole host of other chronic conditions.

We've leveraged keto and carnivore for the last 12 years with my mother as she's traveled through all of the stages of the disease. I've spoken to A.D.Keto and Danny Vega (on their channels) about her journey. In fact, I jokingly "blame" Danny for giving me the final pieces to carnivore that have helped my mom maintain her physical strength, even into these last 6 months that she has been on hospice. As she nears the end, we are gearing up to begin openly talking about her 12 year+ journey through the disease. If anyone is on the fence about doing this, feel free to ask me anything, I can tell you what every step of the disease looks like... right down to what it does to all of us as caregivers as well.
