I see a ledge for dirt and so much more work for the drywall guy. I also run my hand up the wall to his some switches in the dark and this will be much harder to do recessed. It looks different but as I age ease is important.

Boxes have to be absolutely perfect or darn near perfect I can see a lot of fingerprints on that wall. Can you see them. But can’t see them for my house.

Drywallers think our boxes are there to clean their shit. The best thing we can do is kick a few holes in the walls for every box filled and blame it on the plumbers
