Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick Makes $155 Million Bonus
Показать описание
The disturbing lawsuit against Activision has revealed that Bobby Kotick, Activision’s CEO, did in fact make nearly 155 million dollars while his company was allegedly engaging in horrific abuse and mistreatment of female employees.
When the state of California sued Activision, buried among the disturbing accusations of sexual abuse, harassment, and mistreatment of female employees was the fact that CEO Bobby Kotick took home nearly 155 million dollars in 2020 while overseeing the company. This was also on the heels of Activision laying off hundreds of employees with just gift cards as severance packages.
Activision is the company behind massively successful games like Warzone, Call of Duty, World of Warcraft and more. But with pros and streamers raging over no anti-cheat in Warzone, World of Warcraft losing tons of players, and Call of Duty League struggling for views, the CEO pocketing nearly 155 million in bonuses while these issues go unaddressed seems worrying at the least.
So between layoffs of staff, big problems with games with Warzone, and now, with these terrifying accusations against Activision Blizzard, most of which seem to have occurred while Bobby Kotick was CEO of the company, it makes such a massive bonus seem wildly inappropriate.
