Good tip for timing the filling. It made me think of another (better?) idea, you can buy an off the shelf toilet floater (the thing that stops when the reservoir is filled) and connect that!

Hey bud, this seems like a great and awesome alternative to a traditional jacuzzi. But I got 2 questions? What do you do in the winter time of the water freezes up? And can it ever get too hot in there? Say if you fill the fire box and it’s too much

I can buy a big stock tank, and I mean HUGE! 20 foot diameter! For $2400. Set up a little deck around it with a Facebook marketplace woodstove for $150. Run some copper tubing in a coil inside the stove pipe, and light a fire! Its a job done on a Saturday and you have a hot tub big enough for your family plus the neighbors! For less than half the price of this thing! Or, to make one the size of this one can be done for $500 all in.
