Ok Scotty. I agree that almost always oil additives are a wast of time and money and might even damage a newer engine.
But when my 09 f150 5.4 started clacking and shaking at idle Ford told me it was phasers and will cost thousands to fix
I change the synthetic oil every 5000 km so was shocked. I mean only 290 thousand km and already problems.
Dumped a can of Seafoam in oil and another in gas tank. Three days later I was shocked when I realized the noise was gone and the v8 ran like new. So looks like she needed the insides cleaned? I run a can once a year and problem solved.

My uncle has a 2007 toyota Camry with 300K miles and a 2006 Ford F250 V8 gas engine. He puts 1 can of Restore at every 7500 mile oil change himself. Never had any issues on both engines. He swears up and down on a can of Restore. He been putting that stuff in at 100k miles. No leaks no blown head gasket. Everything is original on both motors. I guess Restore does

Had a high hour Ditch Witch with a Duetz 2011 in it. The engine restore helped keep the oil scavenging down until a worker didn’t realize that the oil level was low and ran it sideways on a hill. Then, the thing that helped it run the best was a rebuild.
