I’m a mouth breather (had a cleft palate and surgery when I was a baby) and my nose often feels blocked.
But I tape my mouth at night and also on slow runs.
It’s good because it stops me running too fast.

When I do a jog i inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth like normal, however, whenever I'm running fast (sprint for an example) I feel like I'm not getting enough oxygen so I switch to mouth + mouth.
