I agree! I used interpersonal skills and the '48 laws of power' to climb up the ladder in no time at my last job. The HR lady let me get away with everything because she loved me! I've been having a hard time with some of my gifriends. Through the pandemic I have realized how dysfunctional they all are. So shallow..so when I spoke up. It was interesting to witness that they were pretty unavailable for the talk which was a huge insight of where they truly are. I feel resentment with them right now. It has helped me to see that I also need to work on managing how I ask for my needs and have assertiveness.
