It’s also good to note that this is why people don’t lose weight when they’re in maintenance calories a day. You need to go into a deficit for a prolong period of time. Just cause you think you ate less and you’re not losing weight doesn’t mean you’re actually on a caloric deficit.

I have a question been watching your stuff it’s awesome! So it cutting season and I’m losing weight on the scale technically but not enough body fat I’ve been cutting for 2 months after a 7 month bulk my protein is relatively and carbs and fat low what am I doing wrong 😢😮‍💨

Well you can do that when you are young because of your higher metabolism. I’m 62. Because metabolism slows with each decade, metabolism at age 60 is very low. So adding back in the 1000 calories will not serve to maintain weight. Adding those extra calories will trigger weight gain because the calories will not be burned as efficiently as when I was younger.

Not really. I got fit bit watch. I work demanding hospital job.

I do mix. powerlifting and swim 90 mins 7 days week.

Then walk 10 miles at job. 5 days week.

I average bburn. 6200 kcals Monday to Friday. . I didn’t know until tracking app
