Thank you so much for this! My skin barrier is RUINED right now (hence why I'm here) and I look like a red, blotchy, scaly snake 😢😅 I was washing my face with HOT water (I thought "because it opens the pores, right??" WRONG) using salicylic acid exfoliants TWICE a day right off the bat after I got them for the first time ever last week (about 8 days now), using retinoids 3 times a week AND using a benzoyl peroxide acne medication daily! I feel so ugly in my skin right now, but I will do as you recommended and get my skin right, I should have educated myself more before starting this journey and following the directions on a bottle that was misleading.

My skin’s barrier is kinda damaged and I think it’s because I live in Finland and here the environment is really cold and dry in the winter, everyone’s hands are dry here unless you use hand cream😅

Help I have Adult oily, acne, visible pores on my face. When I use sunblock, or moisturizer, I tend to break out in pimples. How can I prevent the pimples while still maintaining UV protection with the sunblock and the moisturizer? Thank you.

I think everyone will have different skin care requirements, this video only covers a portion of skin types..
It is not good advice for very oily faces..

Doesn't matter what cleanser you use it will still strip your skin and make you very dry. Ive used probably over 100 different cleaners and they all do the exact same thing make my skin dry and tight after cleaning.

Is citric acid ok if it’s in an ingredient list? For example my cleaners are gentle yet contain citric acid.
