Riding 9 years never had an accident, last week a car hit me head on on my motorcycle, clipped my entire foot. I have a fracture in place on my fibula, praying heals correctly and I can return to riding and MMA. Godbless

Me and my cousins planned for a morning ride so that we can see the sun rise in one of the hill. But unfortunately a car came in a wrong lane and hit me, my bike flipped 2 times and completely damaged .I some how escaped from the car crushing towards me and fell on a road . It was all fine for a moment cause I wore helmet and only little bit of scratches in my legs but after few minutes my leg elbow started swelling and paining.I couldn't walk properly so I went for the checkup and boom doctor said u got a fracture in the elbow rest for 3 weeks and no walking . For a moment I thought everything will be fine it will recover soon but no it didn't heal .After 3 weeks i went to the doctor and he changed the plaster and said u need to rest for 3 more weeks, and here I'm trying to recover my elbow fracture by seeing these kinds of video's, because I don't want to waste my time on bed seeing the wall. It's my final year in college and I want to enjoy the last bit of happiness. Everyone were sharing their incident on the comment section so even I thought of sharing my experience of my elbow fracture with u guys!! I hope my fracture recovers soon 🙂

I just got home from the hospital, where I was initially rushed to the surgery room after I hit a deer on my motorcycle, totaling my bike and horribly breaking my leg and shoulder. Not a day later, I went in for surgery that took more than 8 hours. I got at least 25 screws put in my leg, the doctor even said he lost count.
I have another surgery scheduled for next week, hoping it goes well.

The technical diagnosis was, type III open fracture of distal end of right fibula and tibia. Closed dislocation of right shoulder girdle. Acidosis, lactic. Fracture of humeral head, right, closed.


I have a long road off recovery ahead of me, and the surgeon said I will definitely have arthritis for the rest of my life in that ankle, and I may never regain full mobility... before the surgery he even mentioned amputation..

Now, it might sound crazy, but I'm most upset about my bike.. I really loved riding it more than anything, and now it's gone in a blink of an eye.

That being said, I am so grateful to have walked away from this experience with my life, and it really puts things into perspective.
I'm sure I will ride one day again, but now my focus is on being still, and healing.

my mother had a broken bone in her foot, the second break happened while the first had just mended. she is 75 and just had vascular surgery on the same leg. after the second break her foot had a drop foot, no one told us to rest it until a month ago, now she is having bed rest, the swelling has gone and her foot has been pulling and stretching on it own. mum now has some control over her foot and her heel after four weeks is nearly touching the floor. yesterday she got given a splint, it was agony for her and since last night her foot and leg went numb, even after I removed it yesterday. Now her foot is again doing the stretching on its own and has the last four days begun to move up and forwards, why wear a splint when the foot heals itself. and yes I have been giving her plenty of calcium and vitamin D.

I'm 12 and my 15 yr old sister twisted her ankle on a huge gap of my porch stairs and she didn't cry much but she broke her foot and there's a huge bump on it from where her bone popped out of place. BTW this all happened last night on June 2nd, 2017 and now she has this sorta wrapping around her foot. she doesn't like using crutches so I let her hold onto me and I walk her around. She can't walk to anywhere so she crawls herself and I have to help her pull down her pants to use the bathroom because she can't balance and I help her put on her pants too. we are best friend sisters and we argue a lot. today we went and celebrated fireworks and while everyone was having fun, I decided to sit with her and help her move around. she doesn't wanna go on the first day of school with crutches and a broken foot in crowded hallways. and people might step on her and she has trouble walking with the crutches any help on making it feel better without working out the muscles? she's not allowed to put pressure on it.
