Just FYI, the Aguila mini shells deliver significantly less power than than standard 2 3/4”, but for close-range home defense, it’s plenty, and noticeably less recoil which could be good for weaker shooters

This is why I love Nevada..
Just bought one myself earlier this month and I love it.
I can handle the standard sized shells and slugs recoil I put through this thing but i should probably look into the smaller shells for ease of use.

I've got the first gen and I use an OPSol mini clip for the Aguila shells, both buckshot and slug.

With the mini-shells (buckshot or slugs) this is an excellent home-defense weapon. And the Crimson Trace LS-250 Lasersaddle makes it even more effective. Great video.

You must get the OPsol mini clip adapter to feed and eject 1 3/4" shells easily. It allows me to also use my Mossberg 590 with short shells and no ejection issues.

I have an 870 Tac-14 that I hold the same way. I hold it high with the grip pressed against the chest which makes it accurate to any practical distance. I've put many rounds through the gun this way. It's very controllable.

I have the 590 with mini slugs. 9 rounds plus more in the side saddle holder. Light recoil but plenty of damage.

Just bought one today here in New Zealand, haven’t got to use it yet but very nice gun. Only 18.5 inch barrel here allowed as no gun can be shorter than 762mm by law here otherwise it’s a pistol and needs a special license

I was really looking at the Shockwave, and may still grab one, but I pivoted to the Maverick 88 for the pistol grip.
