FYI there is a plastic cap that covers the screw area of the stock. It was missing on mine.

Hi, I assume it is the 14" barrel model, right? With the stock folded would it be more than 26"(660mm)? Can you shoot it with the stock folded, - the stock would not obstruct the trigger?

I’M PRETTY SURE THIS WILL LAND YOU IN FEDERAL PRISON. The reason the shockwave is not classified under federal law as a short barreled shotgun is that it is not classified as a “shotgun“. It is classified as a “firearm“. I believe the reason it is not classified as a shotgun is that the definition of a shotgun includes the fact that it was manufactured with a stock. As the shockwave came from the factory without a stock, it is, therefore not a “shotgun”. Putting a stock on it (folding or not) I believe, makes it a shotgun, and therefore it is subject to the federal requirement that it have a barrel that is at least 18.5 inches long. I think the Shockwave’s barrel is 14” long. Yes, this is asinine, as are many of our federal and state firearm laws as well as the ATF’s perpetually arbitrary and often contradictory regulations. But in view of their long standing penchant for persecuting US citizens I’d tread extremely carefully here. This lawyer highly recommends that anyone that is going to do this talk to the ATF goons first and preferably get something from them in writing clearly saying this is legal. If I’m wrong someone please let me know but I don’t think that I am. I don’t think you can screw around with the bird’s head grip from the standpoint of removing it, and adding something else in its place.
