12ga. Shotgun Slugs vs SUV -Ft. Edwin Sarkissian

Edwin Sarkissian brought his SUV out for us to shoot with a couple of 1oz shotgun slugs. This is far from scientific since there are so many variables, like different structures inside the doors, layers of plastic etc. So this is just for fun and maybe it will satisfy your curiosity a little.

For all the people that are concerned about the SUV.
1- engine was bad
2- transmission was bad
3- title has issues
4- Tires are bad
5- no Ac
6- no radio
7- no heated seats after this video
8- no satellite xm or CD player
9- Windows don't roll down for some reason . I took it to car wash and couldn't pay the guy through the window cuz didn't wanna roll down also the door wouldn't open . I had to get out from the passenger door to pay the guy . That is a true story .
10- total repair cost before this video was $11234.21
11- to buy this suv, perfect good running condition, cost 1000-1500$ on Craig's list .

When I was a youngster, I saw a guy shoot a 55 Chevy with a 410 slug. The slug penetrated the hood, the radiator shell, the firewall, and the steel dashboard before splintering and spraying lead splinters about the car interior. I would never believe that little slug would penetrate so many layers if I hadn't seen it firsthand.

The Federal tru-ball slugs are awesome. Very accurate plus the solid ball behind the plastic wad will penetrate 1/2 plywood out to 20 yards. Only downside is the recoil from a lightweight shotgun is very memorable.

That SUV was compromised already. You need to shoot a new Suburban for EACH round for this to be an accurate test. 😂

You should've shot the fist type of slug again at a different area, in pretty sure something metal in the door deflected the slug. I think it would've made it through
