Watching this, I feel less freaked out by the giant shark than the thought of the cage becoming detached and just dropping to the bottom of the ocean.

Its scary to see how fast they actually move, compared to most footage where they swim slower.

Such a quick steer is impressive. But the thing that impressed me at most was that this one really seemed to go either for an attack or test if the diver/cage was alive.
By how fast he was swimming, he was very active, while steering he dropped the chunk of fish he had in the mouth, and after impact, he turned his eyes in order to protect them (they do that usually when hunt a sealion to avoid their eyes being damaged). Finally he then dashed down, right into the depth of the sea, where he could keep an eye on the divers and not being noticed.
He wasn't even a big one, under 4m long max to me. Can't imagine how the cage would have been shaken if it was one as big as Deep Blue getting so "curious".

I love sharks, they’re great. They can’t swim backwards so the only way it could go was down or to the side. Pretty funny to look at, but since their nose is so sensitive, it probably hurt.

All jokes aside, it looks like the shark was stunned by having its nose being touched by something. Then once it broke of from the cage, it dove down out of confusion and fear

I remember watching this video a homeless man in New York a year ago. Seeing this brought tears to my eyes as how much better my life is now and this video is still here. Never give up in life. No condition is permanent
